Hurray for blurry!
Anyway, clean, file and base coat your nails.
Once the base coat is dry, add in the background colour. Mine are as follows:-
Thumb - Baby Blue
Index - Aqua Blue
Middle - Purple
Ring - Magenta
Baby - Lilac
Depending on the colour, add one to two coats and allow to dry completely.

Next, draw the outlines for all the characters on each nail...
SPONGEBOB:
Start off by drawing a wriggly line across your nail, and then (if desired) draw a wriggly line either side heading down towards your tip.
Next, in the approximate centre. draw his nose - a large oblong with a curved tip but not joined at the bottom. Draw a circle either side of this and add on three lashes. If needed add on a small line at the bottom and draw three lines descending down from it to represent his goofy teeth. Allow to dry!
PARTICK:
Draw a long curved line from the left of your nail towards your cuticle, with the curve getting more pronounce higher up. Once approximately three quarters across your nail, loop under curve in slightly and then curve the line back out and toward the right. At the bottom of your nail, draw two semi-circles for his eyes.
SQUIDWARD:
Draw two large ovals at the bottom of your nail, and then draw a line from the left oval to the edge of your nail. Do the same with the right. Now, near the cuticle, draw a large curved line along the width of the nail. If desired, add in one curved line above the left oval and 2 above the right one (this can be added later).
GARY:
About halfway down your nail, draw two circles side by side. From the bottom of each, draw a "stalk" going down to your tip.
PLANKTON:
First, draw a spade/ inverted tip about halfway up your nail. Draw a line on either side of it going up, towards your cuticle. Then, on each of the newly added lines, add two or three small lines horizontally.
Inside the main"body", Draw a thick curved line for Planktons eyebrow and then two curved lines heading down to the tip of your nail for his eye.
Allow ALL nails to dry!

Once the outlines have dried, fill in the eye areas with white (and Spongebob's teeth if he has them). After, colour in the background of character. Yellow for Spongebob, Pink for Patrick and Turquoise for Gary's eyestalks, Squidward and Plankton. Again, allow to dry. (Oh and red for the side of Spongebob's mouth, if he has one!).
Once Squidward's eye whites have dried, draw a line approximately halfway down to add in eyelids, Yes, I forgot them! lol Colour the eyelids in once drawn (with Turquoise of course!)
For both Gary and Plankton, add in orange iris'. Gary's are small round circles, and Planktons will be a large oval.

Use the blue nail art pen to draw the iris in each eye of Spongebob, then add a black dot for a pupil when it has dried.
Add some orange/ or brownish dots to the yellow body to simulate holes. It would look better with a darker yellow if you have it! Outline (If you want) Spongebob with gold, draw some loose flower shapes in the background and top coat!
For Patrick, add two small black pupils, draw to straight black lines above his eyes for his forehead and outline with sparkly pink. Again draw some loose flower shapes and top coat.
For Squidwards add a rectangle for each eye, ensuring to attach it to the eyelids. Then add black dots to his forehead. Again, loose/ oval flower shapes in the background and I've lined him (Gare-bear and Plankton) with silver.
For Gary, outline and add black dots to the middle of the orange iris.
Plankton needs to be outlined as well, if you are doing that and have a black oval drawn in the middle of the orange one.
I did mine in the reverse for both Gary and Plankton, but it's easier to do it the way round I've just specified.
